Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Showhome3D ("Showhome3D", "we", "us", "our"), operated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Showhome3D is a web application that lets you draw or upload 2D floor plans, visualize them as interactive 3D spaces, apply materials and furniture, and generate photorealistic images.

The Service is a design and visualization aid only. Output produced by the Service — including measurements, 3D models, and renders — is not a construction document, architectural drawing, engineering specification, or substitute for professional advice. Do not rely on the Service for construction, renovation, safety, or regulatory decisions.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You agree to provide a valid email address and to keep your password confidential.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, Credits & Billing

Certain features consume render credits. Credits are granted through subscription plans (such as the Free and Pro plans) and through one-time credit top-ups.

  • Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never see, store, or have access to your full payment card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval shown at checkout until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account's Subscriptions page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, and you keep paid features until then.
  • Plan downgrades take effect at the end of the current paid period. Upgrades apply immediately.
  • Plan-included credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased top-up credits remain available while your account is active.
  • Renders generated on the Free plan may include a visible watermark. Saved render history may expire after a period that depends on your plan.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for unused credits or partial billing periods.
  • We may change prices or plan features with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Your Content

"Your Content" means floor plans, images, text prompts, project data, and other material you upload or create in the Service. You retain all ownership rights in Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service. We do not sell Your Content.

You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to upload Your Content, and that Your Content does not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights;
  • Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service;
  • Scrape, bulk-download, or use automated means to access the Service beyond its intended interface;
  • Circumvent credit limits, plan restrictions, watermarks, or billing controls;
  • Use the Service to generate misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent content;
  • Share accounts or resell access to the Service without our written consent.

6. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content or your violation of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your projects and renders may be permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law & General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Calgary, Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes will be signaled in-app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
